Seventh-Day Adventist Church

Children's Ministry

Adventist Children’s Ministries is focused on helping every child develop a personal relationship with God through Bible stories and Bible study. We want children to encounter Jesus through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. We aim to inspire equip and support children as disciples of Jesus.

GraceLink Sabbath School is a key focus. Emphasizing faith development and transformed lives through the key dynamics, total hour teaching, experiential learning, application and deep thinking is priority. Belief Bible study material and baptism is also a priority. Children are forming foundational beliefs in these first 14 years and it is important that they know, understand and live the beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist church.

There is an emphasis on partnering with parents and supporting them as key disciple makers of children.

GraceLink was developed by the General Conference as our Church’s children’s Sabbath School curriculum.  It is a biblically based 12 year curriculum comprising of 624 lessons. Most lessons are story based, some on scriptural references that teach a specific doctrine. Each story has been selected to develop one of the four dynamics of the GraceLink series: grace, worship, community, and service. For more about GraceLink and more GraceLink resources click here.

We Can Trust the Bible

Written by Tim Hale, We Can Trust the Bible tells exactly why we can trust the bible. Tracing the story of how Moses received a table of stone on which God had written the Ten Commandments, the prophets that had dreams and visions, and the Holy Spirit that taught and inspired the disciples.

It also shows how God preserved His Word through the darkness and persecution of the Middle Ages, and the struggle to give the Bible to the people in languages they could understand. Finally, we see how the Puritans brought the Bible to America and how archaeology proves the ancient records.
